The theme of this year's conference is "The Art of Living….Life After Brain Injury". Many survivors of brain injury often feel that the person they were prior to their injury has been altered. This feeling may leave them grappling with their own blank canvas as they try to conceptualize and establish who they are now. The work of art that will become their new life will encompass challenges, victories, struggles and strengths. The survivor, family members, friends and professionals are all brush strokes on this new canvass of life.
David Payne – one of the partners’ at Thomson Rogers will be providing information for survivors and families who need to understand the complexities of Guardianship in Catastrophic Claims along with various implications that flow from family dynamics. – “Whose money is it?”
