In a decision released on March 28, 2011, the Ontario Superior Court has certified Mirapex as a class action. The class includes all persons resident in Canada (other than in Quebec) who were prescribed Mirapex for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease. On March 1st and 2nd, 2011, the Honourable Mr. Justice Strathy of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice heard the plaintiff's Motion for Certification in the Mirapex class action.
