The lawyers and staff of Thomson, Rogers have always been actively involved in our community.
- Craig Brown, Alan Farrer and Darcy Merkur of Thomson, Rogers played a major role as part of the consortium of lawyers that negotiated a settlement on behalf of Residential School Survivors across Canada. To mark this historic achievement, Thomson, Rogers has made significant financial contributions to several Aboriginal Organizations across Ontario to help them provide much-needed programs to Aboriginal individuals and communities, and to recognize the assistance that these organizations have provided to Residential School Survivors over the years.

The Thomson, Rogers' Holiday Wish Fund was again a tremendous success.
The Fund was started in 2006, with monies being made available to
various head injury and spinal cord associations for the intentions of
helping individual families in a time of need. This year our financial
contributions were approximately $20,000.00.

- Thomson, Rogers a Smash at ICEWAVE 2008 Beach Volleyball Tournament for SickKids!
The fine folks at Thomson, Rogers took to the court and served, set and smashed their way in the ICEWAVE 2008 Beach Volleyball Tournament for SickKids. Held on February 3rd, two TR 8-person teams, the SandBlasters and the Spike-O-Paths, fought bravely for sand-supremacy against other charitable teams. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be for the TR crew, winning only one game between them (by default - the other team did not show up), TR’s coach Joe Pileggi has vowed to return with a leaner and meaner group. All in all, this was a (bitter) taste of summer that chased away the winter blahs and helped raise quite a few dollars to support The Hospital for SickKids Foundation.
