For over 25 years, Joe has been an active advocate for the rights of the disabled and in particular child amputees. While working with Ken Howie, Lawrence Mandel and Craig Brown he has become one of the most experienced law clerks in the province in the preparation and presentation of trials and arbitrations. He has been in the forefront of cases involving people suffering quadriplegia, paraplegia, brain injuries and amputations. He has been directly involved in the community his entire life.

Joe graduated from Neil McNeil High School with Honours, The University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts with a background in economics and history. He also attended Ryerson University where he took courses pertaining to TV, commercial and documentary production.
