Highlights

Since 2009 Joe has been the Director of Client Services:

As a firm believer in long term strategy and implementation, Joe constantly stresses the importance of “client first” and “educational marketing”.  He has assembled a great marketing team all of whom share the same strategic goals. “The real key in building a strong firm is building client and advocate relationships.  Our staff is exceptionally helpful to clients.  Everyone realizes it is not about us – for the last 80 years we really have helped a tremendous amount of people.”

Prior to being the Director, Joe worked with Ken Howie Q.C., Lawrence Mandel Q.C., and Craig Brown. He became one of the most experienced Law Clerks in the province in the preparation and presentation of trials and arbitrations.

Joe has been in the forefront of cases involving people suffering quadriplegia, paraplegia, brain injuries and amputations. He is a tremendous advocate on behalf of the disabled and has been directly involved in the community his entire life. He was part of the War Amputees of Canada’s successful endeavour to have the Federal Government re-compensate the Thalidomide drug victims. He was also part of the first independent NHL arbitration on behalf of a disabled hockey player.
