Each spring, NRIO offers a series of Breakfast seminars to anyone involved in the field of Rehabilitation and Acquired Brain Injury. Speakers present on topics related to current issues facing professionals, families and survivors. Seminars are free of charge.

Leonard Kunka, partner at Thomson Rogers, and Glenn Fincham, brain injury survivor, will be presenting “A Survivor’s Perspective on Rehabilitation after a Catastrophic Brain Injury.” A compelling and successful rehabilitation and legal journey.

The following highlights will be discussed:

  • Immediate investigation;
  • Instituting timely medical and rehabilitation treatment; and,
  • Treatment supplemented by professional long-term medical and rehab brain injury programs.
