On October 5, 2020, Thomson Rogers personal injury lawyer Sloan Mandel was featured in a CBC piece titled “Ontario woman finds needle in her spine 16 years after giving birth.”
Mandel discussed how the malpractice system is stacked against patients and says,
“It is unfair…these are David-and-Goliath battles. You’re going up against an entity, the Canadian Medical Protective Association, that sets aside billions of dollars to fight cases just like this one,” said Mandel.
